Green Eggs and Hom takes place on a remote mining colony in the year 2400. The campaign unfolds in a TL8-TL9 "slow-tech" universe, where some high-technology is present, but is not readily available to the PCs. The Encyclopedia Galactica (representing over two years of obsessive work) is a Player Character (as opposed to player) reference to the universe of Green Eggs and Hom.

Speck class: On Umbel's stake, The "skeeter." Two-man hovercycle. Tricky to operate but very manuverable. Unpressurized.
Bug class: The "GP-2." 4 man jeep, hover or electric wheeled, depending on how rough the terrain is.
Mule class: The "grover" (Go ahead, Roll OVER). Wheeled, has cargo bed, also enough torque to pull trailers. Has a reputation for being a little top heavy. Has optional plow attachment. Has 6 connections to power vaccsuits, but cockpit can't be pressurized.
Bull class: Also known as a "Betty." Wheeled dump truck. Bed can be detached from cab. Range in size from common dump trucks to those huge monsters you see working in South American Strip mines.
As for defaults, per the B43, driving skills are all at -4 to each other. Mechanic is same skill for all electric wheeled vehicles, -4 for hovercraft if you know wheeled, and vice versa.
